After a catastrophic explosion caused by twolegs, the five clans were nearly wiped out. Forced to move from their home and replenish their ranks, the clans were at a very low point in life. As life started to calm down for the group of survivors, word finally came from Starclan that the clans must find new territory and chose new names or perish in a bloody, civil war. Once more the five clans went their separate ways, finding brand new territory to begin a new life. Thunderclan soon renamed themselves Forestclan to honor the great trees that now covered their new home. Shadowclan found a mysterious swampland to call their home, naming themselves Marshclan. Unlike their usual streams and lakes, Riverclan settled in around a bay of water on the coast and only felt right calling themselves Oceanclan. Windclan came across familiar grasslands and rolling hills thus naming themselves Moonclan for the way their terrain shined at night. Finally, Skyclan found themselves among the rocks and valleys up in the mountains and being so close to the sky, they chose the name Sunclan. With new names and a new variety of cats to boost their ranks, the clans began to really rebuild themselves and call this new place home.
